Students choose one story seed and draft a one-page snapshot of the challenge or growth moment, including a narrator, context, and a possible turning point. They use a planning box for beginning-middle-end and mark one place where a symbol or piñata image might connect to the story. This becomes the first portfolio draft for the 14-day writing cycle.
