🗺️ City Heights Hawk Map Talk

Using photos, feather and nest images, and a big neighborhood map, students sort picture cards of trees, skies, rooftops, poles, and open spaces by how a hawk might use them. In pairs, students tell one idea to a partner, listen to a partner idea, then switch to give feedback to 2 peers before revising where they place one card on the map. The class ends by co-creating the project question board with teacher-scribed wonderings about food, safety, and resting places.
