📏 Criteria and Constraints Sort

Right before students start choosing ideas, the class studies sample school energy problems and sorts statements into criteria, constraints, user needs, and non-examples. Teams then draft their own problem frame for this project using sentence stems, a budget cap, material limits, and school safety needs. This just-in-time lesson prepares them to compare ideas using the same decision rules.
