Through short stations, students observe how energy moves through light, heat, and electric currents in classroom materials such as flashlights, foil, black and white paper, mini solar toys, thermometers, and battery-powered circuits. The teacher models how to label the source, direction, and result of each transfer using grade-appropriate science vocabulary. Teams then connect these observations to which energy transfer their own solution will use or reduce.
