Each student completes a summative defense of their individual research brief, outreach prototype, revisions, and contribution to the team event. In a short conference, they justify design tradeoffs with evidence from interviews, shelter observations, mentor feedback, and adoption or engagement data. This assessment serves as the final competency gate for the project portfolio.
