🗣️ Rounding Interviews & Empathy Map

Students conduct two short interviews (one peer and one adult such as a teacher or staff member) using prepared questions about when they use rounding (e.g., shopping, budgeting, counting items). Students capture direct quotes and examples, then complete a simple empathy map (Says, Thinks, Does, Needs) on chart paper. They highlight at least one real example involving estimating grocery costs. Students submit their completed empathy map as evidence for the next phase.
