Students complete a short community problem hunt using a walking route or teacher-prepared local photo set, then record observations in a field log with location notes, photo numbers, and evidence labels for art, vandalism, or both. The teacher models how to note visible clues such as permission signs, property damage, message, audience, and placement so students can separate assumptions from evidence. Teams end by identifying two questions they still need to ask real people.
