Students turn their research into a design brief with measurable criteria and constraints for oxygen, water, power, food, safety, and space for crew tasks. They sketch at least two colony concepts, then use a weighted decision matrix to score each idea against the mission criteria. In a peer feedback round, students give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise the scoring or criteria before selecting one design direction.
