A local lawyer or civic leader joins the class in person or virtually to discuss how communities judge fairness, authority, and consequences in rules. Teams use their draft boards to ask questions, compare Justinian-style laws with current rules, and record new insights or contradictions in their investigation notebooks. Students then give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise one claim on the board based on the panel and peer responses.
