A local zoo educator leads a live or virtual species classification tour using animal footage or live observations so students compare their first-day groupings with new evidence. Pairs give feedback to 2 peers on the clarity and focus of their notebook question, receive feedback, and revise the question before a brief whole-class share-out about stronger and weaker evidence. Students finish by updating a comparison chart with one revised claim, one limitation, and one next-step plan for Phase 2 investigation.
