🧭 Charlottesville Problem Frame

Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Effective Communication Collaboration Self Directed Learning Submission Required Grading Required

Participants review fieldwork journals, asset maps, and notes from youth activists, industry partners, and youth-serving organizations to identify recurring needs, opportunities, and tensions. In design teams, they sort evidence into observed assets, user needs, assumptions, and possible project implications, then draft one concise problem statement tied to a specific Charlottesville user group. Teams complete a feedback round by sharing their draft, giving feedback to 2 peers, receiving feedback, and revising the statement with a short evidence-based rationale.
