# What teachers do

2 [Facilitator] Lead a guided site walk with the master gardener or local volunteer as students observe the current greenhouse layout, note plant-care variables, and record first impressions about what feels calming, stressful, usable, or limiting for both plant growth and student well-being. (15 min)
3 [Facilitator] Divide students into rotating teams and send them through measurement stations using light meters, thermometers, humidity gauges, and soil moisture probes so they can collect site-based evidence from assigned greenhouse zones and add data to a shared recording sheet. (20 min)
4 [Facilitator] Facilitate a visual analysis station where teams examine photos of restorative gardens and culturally informed quiet-space examples, then compare those features to the greenhouse by annotating what design elements might support calm, belonging, beauty, function, and plant health.
