Students exchange chapter drafts in a structured critique round: each student gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and revises. Feedback focuses on strength of evidence, treatment of interview voices, accuracy of contextualization, and whether the chapter clearly explains how past events connect to present issues. Groups annotate next-step revisions directly in their draft and choose one section to rewrite during class.
