📘 Neighborhood Question Pitch

In neighborhood teams, students review the list of San Diego communities, possible local challenges, and sample historical controversies, then draft an initial investigable question for their assigned area. They complete a project notebook setup, write a brief personal history opening paragraph, and self-assess effort, mindfulness, and study strategy habits for the first week. Each team gives a short question pitch and receives a milestone check on whether the question is focused, historically grounded, and researchable with documents and interviews.
