🧭 Evidence Log Calibration

The facilitator opens the phase with a short calibration using sample field notebook pages, photo records, tide charts, and weather notes from a mock rocky shore investigation. Participants compare what counts as traceable evidence, align on naming conventions for organism photos and habitat-zone evidence cards, and rehearse a shared quality-control routine they will use during Birch Aquarium and shoreline data collection. Teams leave with a cleaned template for counts, measurements, source notes, and direct-observation labels.
