Students draft a one-page methodology plan that states the inquiry question, hypothesis, reading lenses, evidence targets, note-taking method, and how they will test for counterevidence. In a structured critique round, each student gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and revises the plan before a brief teacher checkpoint. Approved plans become the gate for moving into full evidence collection in the next phase.
