Submission Required
Students sort their quotes, annotations, source notes, and conference records into a visual analysis map using color-coding for patterns, contrasts, anomalies, and limitations across the literary and nonfiction texts. They draft a comparison claim, identify at least one contradiction or unresolved tension, and note how any archival or museum-related source affects their interpretation. The teacher gives a short just-in-time mini-lesson on moving from grouped evidence to analytical language such as pattern, complication, concession, and implication.
