In reading groups, students present their developing evidence log and journal notes, give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise on the spot. Peers use a shared audit protocol to check balance across texts, strength of quotation choices, presence of counterevidence, and whether the evidence still matches the inquiry question. Students close by adding a short revision memo that names one gap they fixed and one gap that still needs more reading.
