Students audit the sources already collected in their Family Footprints Research Notebook using a credibility and relevance protocol focused on origin, purpose, audience, corroboration, and fit to their inquiry question. They sort evidence into keep, replace, or investigate further, then conference briefly with a peer to test whether each source actually supports the emerging claim.
