Teams set a clear success goal for their mock trial case and Delaware community hearing recommendation, then plan how they will test it with classmates acting as a jury and community audience. Using a teacher-provided planning template, students identify what evidence they will collect during the test run, such as jury vote counts, listener questions, feedback notes, and a checklist for claim-evidence-reasoning. Teams also name the tools they will use, including note-catchers, tally charts, sentence stems, and tablet video clips.
