Using color-coded quote strips from Animal Farm opening chapters, speeches, posters, and short nonfiction excerpts, students sort examples by rhetorical appeal, tone, and likely logical fallacy. In pairs, they justify each sort on a table chart and then test whether each example feels persuasive, manipulative, or mixed. The teacher closes with a mini-lesson on how weak reasoning can still sound convincing.
