Students examine a teacher-modeled example of a weak and strong character-to-career claim, then use their Phase 3 evidence logs to test whether their own hypothesis is supported, incomplete, or challenged by new findings. They sort evidence into confirming, complicating, and missing categories and note at least one anomaly that does not neatly fit their original idea. The session ends with a revised working claim and a short method note explaining why their comparison approach still fits the question.
