🧩 Empathy Map and Assumption Check

In mixed-age teams, students sort observation notes, interview sketches, and photo evidence onto a large empathy mat with boxes for 'see,' 'say,' 'need,' and 'help.' Teams then compare their first guesses with the evidence by marking ideas with green dots for 'we saw or heard this' and yellow dots for 'we still need to check this.' Each student gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and revises one label, drawing, or placement on the empathy map before the team chooses the strongest need.
