Students review the measurable criteria and constraints from their project folders, then learn how to score three rectangle-based layout ideas using a simple weighted decision matrix. The class models one example with area, perimeter, movement space, and fairness for learners before students complete their own comparison chart and written claim. Each student selects the strongest design based on evidence, not preference.
