In pairs, students study 2-3 sample classroom, garden, or playground plans and measure printed rectangles or read provided dimensions to calculate area and perimeter. They compare how different rectangular zones support reading, movement, collaboration, and fairness for different learners using a simple note-catcher. Pairs share one strong idea they may borrow and one trade-off they noticed.
