Students use grid paper, rulers, and a teacher-provided template to draft a first sketch of an ideal learning space made with rectangles. After a brief mini-lesson on true representation and simple scale, pairs write one measurable criterion and one constraint, then add labeled dimensions to their sketch. Students complete a quick partner critique, give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise before submitting the sketch, notes, and a success/next-step reflection to their project folder.
