📝 Inquiry Notebook Checkpoint

Students assemble their first notebook section: launch notes, source annotations, speaker notes, revised inquiry question, and a brief reflective journal entry on how wartime choices shaped soldiers' and civilians' experiences. In small circles, each student shares one insight from the reflection and listens for common themes and unresolved questions. The teacher uses the notebook checkpoint to confirm students are ready to move into deeper source work next phase.
