🗂️ War Room Wake-Up Gallery

Students rotate through a mystery-source gallery with copied letters, photos, newspaper clippings, and short oral-history excerpts from the archive partner. In pairs and small groups, they sort sources by possible leader, motivation, challenge, and impact using sticky notes, picture icons, and a shared chart. The class closes with a quick circle-share in which students name one source that surprised them and explain how it may connect to soldiers’ or civilians’ lives.
