📓 Observation Plan and Data Log Build

Teams design the tools they will use in the field: a shared observation protocol, a data table for repeated visits, photo and sketch conventions, and role assignments for recorder, photographer, mapper, and evidence checker. A short mini-lesson introduces reliable sampling choices, conditions tracking, and how to capture energy-flow and species-role evidence without overclaiming. Students assemble their plan packet using notebooks, clipboards, maps, and a board template, then complete a second forest circle check-in naming one revision made and one next step.
