🔍 Before-and-After Spot Check

Students place earlier and newer photos or sketches side by side and complete a short oral, drawn, or written comparison of the same forest spot. They identify one thing that stayed the same and one thing that changed, then explain what evidence supports the comparison. The teacher uses a simple milestone rubric to confirm that students have enough traceable evidence to continue into analysis in the next phase.
