Students install their final watercolor canvas, sketch drafts, planning notes, Spanish artist statement, and QR code for the audio narration in a bilingual gallery space for families, the history class, the community immigration partner, and the local artist. Each student gives a live Spanish presentation that narrates the family member’s journey with preterite and imperfect verbs, explains at least one identity symbol, and points to one revision made after feedback. Audience members leave written response cards about identity, migration, and community connections, and student teams help curate a shared gallery panel that names common themes across the class.
