🎤 Outsiders Open Mic Showcase

Student teams perform their found poem, monologue, or scene reading for peers, invited adults, and the local community center staff member, then share a brief presenter’s note naming their claim about Ponyboy’s change. During the post-performance discussion, teams must cite at least one textual turning point and one insight from the roundtable on belonging in neighborhoods or friend groups. Audience members use simple program notes or character journey cards to follow the evidence behind each performance.
