Students begin with a fast partner interview using a question set focused on strengths, values, milestones, support people, and next-step plans after high school. They capture notes in two columns—direct quotes and inferred themes—then turn the interview into a brief spoken or written chapter-one piece that introduces who their partner is becoming. The class closes by posting one milestone and one future hope on a shared timeline wall to surface patterns that will feed the next phase’s empathy work.
