Students submit their revised regional question, hypothesis, mini map, and evidence plan for a teacher checkpoint. During short conferences, students explain how their plan will help them gather evidence and how they changed it after peer feedback. Students who meet the checkpoint move on to evidence collection next phase; others make targeted revisions before approval. Students end by adding a brief entry to the class region journal about how geography affects jobs, daily life, and natural resources in one region.
