🧥 NYC Clothing Waste Launch

Students examine a set of discarded garments, fabric scraps, thrift tags, and photos of NYC textile bins and overflowing waste streams. In a whole-class notice/wonder protocol, they sort visible clues about materials, price, durability, and likely disposal pathways, then capture initial claims about how fast fashion affects teens, communities, and the environment. The class closes by generating a shared evidence board that will feed into all three written artifacts.
