🧭 Salt Marsh Claims Sort

Students revisit field sketches, class charts, partner notes, photos, and journals to sort ideas into three picture-coded groups: what we observed, what the evidence suggests, and what we still wonder. The teacher models how to say a careful conclusion using sentence frames such as “We noticed…” and “This may mean…”. Students mark one limitation or unusual finding with a sticky note so their final explanations stay honest and evidence-based.
