📘 Marsh Text Features Hunt

Using short salt marsh books, photo cards, and a projected article page, the class studies headings, captions, labels, diagrams, and pictures to decide where evidence might be found fastest. Students use sticky dots and oral discussion to match each text feature to a question about animals, plants, human impact, or conservation. Pairs add one labeled example to their project journal and explain how that feature helps them understand the source.
