🔍 Marsh Artifacts and Wonder Wall

Using shells, spartina seeds, photos, and field trip notes, students rotate through short artifact stations and compare what they observed with what they can touch or study closely. The teacher models how to separate 'I noticed' from 'I wonder' and uses a picture chart to sort student ideas into animals, plants, human impact, and conservation. Pairs give feedback to 2 peers on whether a question is clear and connected to evidence, then students revise one question before adding it to the class Wonder Wall.
