🧩 Puzzle Satisfaction Field Notes

Content Expertise Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Submission Required

Students examine short mentor examples of word puzzles, number puzzles, mazes, and mini jigsaws while the class names puzzle vocabulary such as clue, rule, pattern, dead end, fairness, and difficulty. Using a Puzzle Designer’s Notebook chart, they record what solvers must notice, what strategies help, and which features make each puzzle feel satisfying or frustrating. The teacher models how to turn opinions into evidence-based observations with examples from solved puzzles.
