In small groups, students use class weather logs, tool sketches, and notes from the weather expert to choose one daily weather problem that matters to families and neighbors. They complete a teacher-made planning mat with four boxes: what we noticed, who this helps, what people should do, and what picture will make the advice easy to understand. Groups orally rehearse their message before drawing the first layout for one advisory poster.
