🧺 Safe Materials Sorting Baskets

Using school-collected sticks, stones, bark, leaves, cardboard tubes, and clean recycled containers, students sort materials by size, texture, shape, and safety. The teacher models words such as smooth, rough, heavy, light, natural, and reuse just before students need them in partner talk. Small groups make quick 'yes for play,' 'maybe,' and 'not safe yet' baskets and explain their choices with photos and oral language.
