♻️ Reuse Explorer Sort

Students investigate baskets of clean recycled materials, sticks, stones, leaves, and school supplies, then sort them by size, shape, texture, color, and safety. The teacher models simple engineering thinking by asking which materials might work for paths, loose parts, or a story circle. Small groups share choices, listen to classmates, give feedback to 2 peers using sentence frames such as "safe here" and "try this," then revise one group sort or idea card before adding it to the wonder wall.
