🪐 Solar System Draft Build

In small groups, students turn their planning sketch into a low-tech draft display using paper circles, string or sentence strips, crayons or paint, glue, fact cards, and planet photo references from the museum partner. They measure and place planets with one agreed-on nonstandard unit, check planet order and spacing, and add labels, color, and simple feature notes so a visitor can read the model easily. Midway through, groups do a quick feedback round: each group shares with 2 peer groups, receives one strength and one fix-it idea, then revises the draft before a final teacher check.
