Students complete a milestone review of their notebook, interview notes, source set, and artifact folder to show they are ready for claim testing in the next phase. The teacher checks whether each student has enough corroborated evidence across multiple eras and whether every selected artifact can be traced to a complete source record. Students who meet the benchmark move forward; others use targeted revision time to close gaps.
