🤝 Community Migration Interviews

With support from the nonprofit partner, students interview community members about why people moved to California, what opportunities they sought, and how expectations matched reality. Students take structured notes, identify moments that connect to historical migration patterns, and record consented audio snippets or quote selections for later use. They close by comparing lived experiences with one historical era already under study.
