Students draft and rehearse short QR-linked audio reflections for the mural, using a claim-evidence-limitation structure. Each script must connect one historical era to a larger pattern about why people moved to California and how that shaped state identity, while naming at least one uncertainty, conflict, or exception in the evidence. Students practice pacing, voice, and clear citation language before recording later in the phase.
