🧭 Corroborating Ads Maps Voices

Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Submission Required

Using library and archive materials, students practice a final round of source corroboration by comparing advertisements, maps, photographs, letters, and oral history excerpts on the same migration topic. They annotate how each source represents California, note promotional language versus reliable evidence, and discuss limitations that should appear in exhibit captions or audio scripts. This work prepares students to make stronger claims instead of simply retelling events.
