📊 Cross-Era Pattern Boards
Critical Thinking & Problem Solving
Submission Required
Students use their investigation notebooks, source logs, and draft timeline entries to sort evidence into visual categories such as jobs, land, safety, fame, family, and labor demand. In teams, they create a large comparison board with color-coded sticky notes, dates, and source labels that shows recurring pull factors, shifts across eras, and at least one anomaly or contradiction. The class closes by testing which patterns are strongly supported and which still need stronger corroboration.
