Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Submission Required

Students rotate through timeline tiles, photographs, maps, ads, oral history excerpts, and short community migration stories, then place events on a draft class living timeline mural. Small groups discuss recurring pull factors and post one cross-era pattern and one unresolved question on chart paper. The class closes by naming initial theories about what California offered in different periods.
