🎭 Toy Stories and Empathy Map

Using a toy-centered mentor text, the class acts out character, problem, and feelings through guided drama, then connects those story elements to what they noticed at the Pre-K Center. Students work in small groups to sort visit notes into picture categories such as color, character, texture, and play preference, and create a simple empathy map for one buddy with drawings and key words. To close, each group shares one need they think matters most and one question they still need to answer in the next phase.
